The University of Maine at Presque Isle will present Maya Williams, former poet laureate of Portland, Maine, and New England Book Award and Maine Literary Award finalist, as a 2024-2025 Libra Distinguished Lecture Series speaker on Wednesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. in the Campus Center. Williams will deliver a presentation titled What鈥檚 So Wrong with a Pity Party Anyway? The public is encouraged to attend this free event, which will also be offered virtually through Zoom.

With a focus on meeting state workforce needs and providing working adults with a direct, affordable, and entirely online pathway to a postgraduate degree and subsequent career advancement, the University of Maine at Presque Isle is establishing a Master of Science in Business (MSB) degree program. As 91桃色鈥檚 second-ever master鈥檚 degree, the high-demand program includes 10 associated concentrations and serves as the newest addition to 91桃色鈥檚 YourPace offerings.

A special tree in the University of Maine at Presque Isle鈥檚 Campus Center is one of more than a dozen Trent鈥檚 Trees across the state on display to help those who are coping with grief and loss during the holidays. In this year鈥檚 annual rankings, 91桃色 was named among the top tier of Best Regional Colleges in the North, the 20 Top Public Schools in the North, the top 10 Regional Colleges in the North for graduates with least debt, and the top 30 Regional Colleges in the North for Social Mobility.
