Important Update: Business and Accounting Program Requirements for Summer 2026

Beginning in Summer 2026, updated requirements will take effect for 91ÌÒɫ’s Business and Accounting programs.

These updates include enhancements to the curriculum, such as a stronger business core, expanded real-world skill development, and new concentration options, while keeping the total credits required for graduation the same.

For Current Students

Students who began their program prior to Summer 2026 will remain under their current degree requirements, and no action is required. Your remaining degree requirements will stay exactly as they are unless you request a change.

Current students may choose to move to the new Summer 2026 requirements if they feel the updated curriculum is a better fit for their academic or career goals. This change is completely optional. Students interested in exploring this option should contact their Academic Success Coach.  

For New Summer 2026 Students

Students beginning their program in Summer Session 1, Summer Session 2, Fall 1 of 2026 will automatically be placed under the new Summer 2026 program requirements.

As a one-time transition option, students starting in Summer Session 1, Summer Session 2 or Fall Session 1 only may choose to follow the previous/current degree requirements instead by notifying their New Student Enrollment Specialist, who can assist with updating their requirement term.

This option is available only for students accepted for Summer Session 1, Summer Session 2 or Fall Session 1 of 2026. Students beginning in Fall Session 2 or any later term will follow the new requirements and will not have the option to return to previous requirements.

We’ve made the admission process simple and streamlined so it’s easier for you to get started. Those interested in earning their competency-based education degree in Business Administration should have the equivalent of a high school diploma and possess some prior college credit and/or work experience.

Admissions Requirements and Guidelines for Undergraduate Programs

  • Applicants must be at least 20 years of age at the time of application, unless they have previously earned a bachelor’s or an associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., HiSet, GED)
  • Minimum cumulative college GPA of 1.75 from the most recently attended institution
    • Submission of all official transcripts:Transcripts are only considered official if they are sent directly to 91ÌÒÉ« from the granting institution or their electronic ordering service. Student-submitted transcripts are not accepted.
  • Students who do not have any college credits must submit the following:
    • Provide high school transcript, high school equivalency test (HiSet), or GED

Instructions for international students:

  • All international transcripts will only be accepted if the student provides them through an evaluation service. The evaluation agency must be a member of NACES or AICE. We will not accept unofficial copies (e.g., from the student)
  • Canadian schools and universities from a French-only institution (mostly in the province of Quebec) must be evaluated
  • International students are required to demonstrate English proficiency by submitting scores from an English language proficiency test taken no more than two-years prior to date of application
